Glimwed (“we,” “us,” “our”) helps you plan your wedding through visual vision boards. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Glimwed at www.glimwed.com, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your password in plain text).
• Content you create. The images, notes, boards, checklists, and other content you add while planning are stored so we can save and load your work.
• Photos you upload. Images you add to your boards are stored securely so they appear when you return.
• Basic usage information. Standard technical data such as your browser type and general activity, used to keep the service running and improve it.

How we use your information

• To provide the core service — saving and loading your boards and account.
• To send you essential account emails, such as sign-in confirmations and password resets.
• To maintain, secure, and improve Glimwed.
• To respond to your questions or support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos or boards with other users unless you choose to.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to operate Glimwed. They only process your data on our behalf:

• Supabase — secure database, authentication, and photo storage.
• Resend — sending account and transactional emails.
• GitHub Pages — hosting the website.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate; this does not identify you personally.

Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it, except where we are required to keep certain records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email us at hello@glimwed.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Glimwed is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
